We know that you want a choice when it comes to paying your bill. That's why we've got lots of great ways to pay for you to choose from.
Our most popular way is by monthly Direct Debit , where your estimated annual costs are spread over 12 months. So you pay a set amount each month and don't face any unexpected costs. Not only does it help you budget but you’ll also be able to save up to £80 off your energy bills. And if you go paperless, you’ll also get up to an extra £12 off your energy†.
Please be aware that if you're already a customer with us and you're on Atlantic Online or any variant of Atlantic Fixed price, your discounts are already included in your unit price. You won't get any extra discount by paying by Direct Debit, but you'd still benefit by spreading your costs over the year.
If you want to pay your bill in full when you get it, why not make a payment online? All you need to do is register for an online account, or log in if you already have one, and you're away. As well as being able to pay your bills, you can view your bills and give meter readings.
Below, we've got lots of other payment options to choose from. And if you ever find that you're having trouble paying, please get in touch as soon as possible. We'll work with you to find the best way for you to manage your bills.
Green Deal is now closed to new applications. However, if you already have a Green Deal agreement with us, any prices or discounts we quote don't include your Green Deal payments.
Monthly Direct Debit is a great way to save money with up to £80 off your energy costs. We’ll estimate how much your annual bill will be and spread it over 12 months. So, you pay a set amount each month. And we’ll review your payments each year to make sure you’re paying the right amount. With your costs spread evenly over the year you can easily budget for your gas and electricity.
To set up a Direct Debit, you can use our online Direct Debit form or phone us on 0345 026 0657*. You’ll need your bank account number and sort code to hand.
If you want to make a monthly payment but prefer not to pay by Direct Debit or Standing Order, you could use our monthly swipe card option.
Once we’ve agreed an amount and payment date, all you have to do is pay with your swipe card at any PayPoint or Post Office by the agreed date. We’ll review your account at least once a year to check the amount you’re paying each month is just right.

Paying by Standing Order means a set amount will be transferred from your bank account to Atlantic every month. You’re in control, so you have to agree any changes to the Standing Order with your bank. We’ll review your account at least once a year to check you’re paying the right amount.
You’ll also save up to £80 per year off your energy which will be shown as a Standing Order discount on your statements.
To set up a Standing Order, please contact us so one of our expert advisers can recommend a monthly amount and send you a standing order form to fill in and take to your bank.
Paying your bills online lets you pay anywhere and anytime.
To pay online, you’ll need to sign up for an online account. Then you can use it 24/7 to make payments, give us meter readings, view your bills and more.
If you've got an online account, just log in to pay your bill. Once you’re logged in, click 'Pay now' for the service you want to pay (gas or electricity) and follow the instructions on the screen.
Please note, if you pay by credit card you'll be charged a handling fee for each credit card transaction you make.
You can easily make payments for your energy bills from most banks. Use their pay bills or money transfer services online or over the telephone.
All you need is your gas or electricity account number, which should be 10 digits long, and our bank details which are:Account number 90210170Sort code 57-17-57

To make it easy to pay online any-time of the day, some banks have a drop down option so you can choose who to pay. Take a look for us if your bank offers this option.
You may prefer to pay your bill in full when you get it. You can pay your bill online at any time, by registering for an online account. If you already have an online account, just log in to pay your bill.
Variable Direct Debit allows you to pay your bills directly from your bank account every quarter rather than every month. It means your bills will always be paid in full and you’ll get a discount of up to £80 off your energy per year for paying this way. The date the payment will be taken is shown on your statements.
To set up a Variable Direct Debit, you can use our online form or contact us. You’ll need your bank account number and sort code to hand.
We know it's not easy finding time to pay bills. So we've introduced paying by text message which is quick, easy and secure.

Or pay your bill with your credit or debit card online, via your online account. To do this, simply register online or if you already have an online account, just log in to pay your bills. As well as the convenience of paying online, you’ll also be able to view your bills and submit meter readings.
To pay by post, please fill in the payment slip at the bottom of your bill and send it to us with your cheque or postal order to:

Please make the cheque payable to 'Atlantic' and write your customer account number on the back so your payment is made to your account. Please, don’t send us cash in the post as unfortunately things can go astray on the way.
Our Paygo swipe card is a flexible payment option that you can use to pay your bill at any PayPoint or Post Office.
Contact us and we’ll set you up to pay this way. You’ll decide when and how much to pay. You can even make payments before you get your bill. All payments are shown on your quarterly bill and any remaining balance will need to be paid in full when you get your next bill.
If receiving a quarterly bill or statement is not right for you, you may be better using a Pay As You Go meter.
This is where you use a key or card to add credit to the meter itself. It allows you to budget and keep track of how much energy you're using, as you're using it. You can only use what you've paid for in advance, meaning no unexpected bills.
Credit for pay as you go meters can be bought from your local Post Office or Paypoint.
